Posada De Roncesvalles

I had a lovely stay where I enjoyed delicious meals at a reasonable price, especially the savory dinner! However, the room layout was a bit tricky, causing some noise at night. I would definitely come back again!

it was compact, spotless and with modern bathroom. i found the hotel's location unbeatable, near to the monastery and the main pilgrim hostel, restaurant and glorious roncesvalles.

Quiet, clean rooms offered a comfortable space to recover after a long day on the trail. Enjoyed a decent pilgrim meal that was basic but tasty, which filled the void after hours of hiking.

Check-in took a frustratingly long time, with some guests waiting over two hours for a receptionist to appear. Facilities for drying clothes were nonexistent, forcing those of us arriving soaked from the rain to seek help elsewhere. It had the vibe of a hostel without luxury, and the overall atmosphere felt dismissive to weary travelers.

What an enjoyable stay, no complaints whatsoever. Beautiful place to stay for 1 day. Marvellous location, minutes away from Iglesia de Santiago Church. Just 5 min walk to downtown. Had triple room with a big shower, a good temperature plus comfortable bed. The very amiable and particularly helpful staff working throughout the hotel😀

great hotel near key attractions for walking lovers

I was thrilled to find this hotel just a few steps from the fine Real Colegiata de Santa Maria de Roncesvalles and the awe-inspiring Monumento a la batalla de Roncesvalles, made my weekend city strolls so rewarding. Friendly staff and a delicious salmon dinner rounded out my enjoyable stay.

The rooms are well-equipped and modern here with a big shower, a GOOD temperature, comfortable bed.

Clean, spacious rooms provided a comfy base after walking the Camino. The Standard Twin Room had super comfortable beds, we rested well. Staff attentiveness stood out. They were consistently friendly, even during busy times. Dinner was a highlight, with generous servings and tasty options, especially enjoyed the salmon and veggies. The check-in process was a bit hectic. The reception area felt cramped, leading to some queues when checking in. It lacked drying facilities, inconvenient for Camino walkers caught in the rain. Nevertheless, we left feeling satisfied.

Enjoyed our stay with friends! The rooms were clean and spacious, and we appreciated the warm showers after hiking. Dinner was tasty, especially the salmon. Close to beautiful sights.

The room was spacious and featured modern facilities, including a fine shower, made for a refreshing end to the day. I also appreciated the amazing mountain view from my window, a good backdrop . The staff were friendly.
